Hello, my name is Thomas Kallenbrecher. I come from Berlin,
Germany, where I work as a university lecturer. My field of
expertise is the ancient Teutonic toilet and bathing rituals,
but this is not funny. It is actually a fascinating field
of research. Although the ancient Teutons had a culture that
was markedly different from ours today, many interesting parallels
can nevertheless be drawn between their toilet and bathing
rituals and ours.

I am now happy to return in the form of a website and a radio
show - and bring the Best of German Humour to Britain !

My interest in humour goes back a couple of years, when I
visited England as part of an exchange program for university
lecturers. We had to return to Berlin prematurely, because
our kids did not like the food and nobody could mend my old
BMW 650. But since then I always remembered how patiently
the British listened when I explained my jokes.
